I Heart Market Street Music Series presents Tak Arikushi

I Heart Market Street, Old Town Toronto’s free urban park, welcomes Tak Arikushi Trio to our street stage, located on Market Street, just north of The Esplanade. (All performances are subject to cancellation due to poor weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding.)

Artist Bio: Tak Arikushi plays Gypsy-jazz music with a Japanese twist: he fuses Japanese melodies both traditional and contemporary with the hot swing rhythms of the legendary guitarist, Django Reinhardt for a sound you’ve never heard before! The unique string instrumentation and arrangements create displays of virtuosity and moments of deep introspection. His music will have you simultaneously tapping your feet and contemplating zen.
