Join us at the Michael Comstock Pavilion in St. James Park for a free concert with Alex Pangman and the Alleycats.

Proudly known as Canada’ Sweetheart of Swing, JUNO nominated vocalist Alex Pangman leads her band the Alleycats through the music of the 1920s and 30s. In that musical world, “hot tunes flow like bathtub gin in a back-alley speakeasy as she roars through a repertoire of vintage swing and blues, possessed by the coltish spirit of a young Ella Fitzgerald.” (Now Magazine) The host of Swing Set on JAZZ.FM91, Pangman learned the ropes singing for over a decade at the Reservoir Lounge & will be joined by Grammy nominated Drew Jurecka on violin/sax, Peter Hill piano, Chris Banks bass, and Glenn Anderson drums in a solid, playful grouping who have toured the country for jazz fans and dancers alike!
