Artist Bio: The Sean Stanley Quartet PROUDLY plays Jazz, Swing & the Blues. The music of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Ray Charles as well as Sean’s original compositions. Performing since 2014, not only are they 2023 O.A.C. (Ontario Arts Council) grant recipients, but also feature TOP Toronto musicians including 2-time Juno winner Kyle Tarder-Stoll -tenor sax. First call bassist for many swing/New Orleans bands in Toronto, Gram Whitty. Jim Gelcer -drums who has performed with too many Toronto legends to list and bandleader Sean Stanley -piano/composition/vocalist.
