Their mission is to promote Colombian dance styles in Canada by connecting\, interacting\, and inspiring people interested in learning and enjoying new Latin dance rhythms. The dance styles the academy teaches and performs are Salsa calena\, salsa choke\, and champeta. The academy currently offers online and in-person classes in Spanish with Latin-American instructors for all people interested in learning about Colombian culture and its expressions. \n\nPAPAYA SOUND EXPERIENCE\n4:15-5pm | 5:15-6pm\n \nPapaya is a high energy band focused on elevating the celebration to the next level. With its many configurations and musical arrangements\, Papaya connects with the audience to bring the singer and dancer we all have inside of us.  We stroll through decades of the best Latin music and compile everything into an unforgettable show. We have performed at many events\, big or small\, weddings\, and many other celebrations.

They have become well known for their musical mix of pan flutes\, guitar\, violin\, charango and drums with a wide repertoire of musical sounds spanning from traditional Andean San Juan’s to classics such as “Hotel California” by The Eagles.
