Also known as individual performing artists Kristin Fung and Sheree Spencer, K Funk and Lady Ree, are the infamous singing ukulele ladies of Toronto’s TTC Subway system. Spreading sunshine and cheer with their soulful acoustic covers ranging from Elvis Presley to Jill Scott, K Funk and Lady Ree have performed and taught beginner ukulele workshops for Waterfront Toronto, Farm to Fork On Common Ground Festival, An Honest Farewell at Honest Ed’s, Toronto’s Arts in the Parks (July/August 2017) and the Chewstick Foundation in Bermuda.
