HALTON JAZZ SINGERS MUSICIAN BIOS:

DARCEA HILTZ
Darcea Hiltz is the Founder and Artistic Director of Halton JAZZ Singers. Hiltz, an Oakville resident, felt that jazz was missing in the local music community and created Halton JAZZ Singers to help promote jazz in the region. Hiltz is a fine singer, respected teacher and musician.

JASON MILLER
Jason Miller is a lyric tenor. Miller is an educator in his home town of Milton and has travelled and performed with “People to People” and appeared in numerous local musical theatre programs.

SIONA NEALE
Siona Neale is a dynamic vocal frontman and performer. Neale was introduced to Darcea Hiltz through Jazz Ranger bassist Brent Gelhar. Neale had just returned to Canada having spent years in Europe as a professional jazz singer with orchestras, notable jazz ensembles and appearing on television and various recordings.

ROCCO CONTINENZA
Rocco is the newest member of Halton JAZZ Singers. Rocco is a jewel, with his solid jazz trumpet background (from the renowned Humber College Jazz program) and his experience as a baritone with a “bouncin’ swing.”
