I Heart Market Street, Old Town Toronto’s free urban park, welcomes Market String Quartet and Friends to our street stage, located on Market Street, just north of The Esplanade.

Artist Bio: We are a collective of musicians from two community orchestras, Corktown Chamber Orchestra and Counterpoint Community Orchestra. We came together during the pandemic lockdowns when all the music stopped and every venue shut down. Our love of music compelled us to take our rehearsals and performances outside. We loved our connection to you, our audience, so much, we never stopped. Now we are a string ensemble that performs at the market most weekends rain or shine.
