I Heart Market Street, Old Town Toronto’s free urban park, welcomes Tak Arikushi to our street stage, located on Market Street, just north of The Esplanade.

Artist Bio: Tak Arikushi plays Jazz Manouche with a Japanese twist: he fuses the red-hot swing rhythms of Django Reinhardt and rhapsodic Japanese melodies both traditional and contemporary. Inventive arrangements with the acoustic string instrumentation are filled with virtuosic displays and melodic meditations to create a sound that will have you tapping your toe and simultaneously contemplating zen.
