Artist Bio: Formed in 2019, El Ceibo is a dynamic music group specializing in Argentinian folk music. Their performances blend traditional rhythms and melodies with jazz influences, creating a vibrant and eclectic experience for audiences. Their self-released EP (January 2022) showcases their unique sound, earning recognition from the Toronto Jazz Festival, CBC Radio 1, and Jazz Fm. El Ceibo has performed for various platforms, from community events to international festivals like the Toronto Jazz Festival and Vamos a la Feria Latina. Based in Mississauga, Canada, the group comprises skilled musicians from diverse Canadian and Latin American backgrounds, celebrating both the music and the local cultural tapestry.
