Toronto is chock-full of talented photographers- from amateur to professional- and we love scrolling through our feed and seeing all your stunning, silly, and super cool pics. Sometimes it feels like leaving a like or comment just isn’t enough to truly convey how grateful we are to see folks in our community showing their Old Town Toronto pride, so we’re taking this opportunity to highlight some of our fave pics from the past few months.
Would you like us to feature your post? Tag @oldtowntoronto and use hashtag #oldtowntoronto on Instagram or TikTok. We can’t guarantee it’ll make it to the blog, but we promise to leave you a cheeky emoji 😉
Smile-making Seafood
Market Street Catch is a cultural institution and one of the restaurants you HAVE to visit in Toronto before you die. See that look of pure, unadulterated joy on @billfoodie’s face? That could be you. Click here to visit @marketstreetcatch_official on Instagram and see what’s on the menu.
Not Just for the Dogs
@jujodas was visiting Toronto and couldn’t get enough of our beloved dog fountain in Berczy Park. We hope they’ll return when the water is turned on in the spring!
Motor Over to Morotino
@hannahxoxo.foodie stopped by @motorinorestaurants and OMG, LOOK at that spread! If the hearty Italian fare didn’t put her into a food coma, we’re sure those killer cocktails would.
Too Dog-gone Good Mention Just Once
Do we love our dog fountain? Absolutely. Do we love it even more with the stunning light installation set up for a past public event? At least as much as @mariannalangford, who took this breathtaking shot. Berczy Park hits different at night- tag us next time you pop by!
Stunning St. James
The composition of this photo had us singing hallelujah. Professional photographer @__sam_e__ made the iconic St. James Cathedral look even more stunning and whimsical than usual. We can practically hear the organ music! But you don’t have to imagine it if you attend their Organ Recitals on select Tuesdays at 1pm. Check them out on Instagram @stjamesto for more details. Free to attend.
Market Street Vibes
We love how @colleencpeacock captured a moment on Market Street that’s both cozy AND lively. The pedestrianization of Market Street was a great success, and we look forward to bringing it back.
