Artist Bio: Emily Schultz is a world-class, up-and-coming talent and emerged in the Canadian music scene with force and grace. Her soulful vocals, compelling lyrics, and powerful stage presence have led to several sold-out co-headlined shows (The Great Hall and Rivoli) and major festival appearances at the Hops & Harvest Festival and Kensington Jazz Festival. Praised for her mastery and universality as a songwriter, Emily’s long-awaited song ‘What Do I Know’ earned a Song of the Year nomination from the Ontario Folk Music Awards with her most recent release, The Pines, garnering global attention. Emily is also the co-founder of ‘Giving Tree Art Collective,’ an artist collective that partners with companies like The Part Hyatt Hotel and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada to produce events and performance opportunities. Emily is to be watched not only for her artistry, but her passionate action towards giving back to the community.
