The St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood BIA presents free performances of a Shakespeare play in beautiful Berczy Park every weekend in August.  The play this year will be The Two Gentlewomen of Verona, about best friends Proteus and Valentine who are put to the test when one falls hard for the other’s guy. Performed by the Dauntless City Theatre players, this site-specific production adapts Shakespeare’s problematic original play through an inter-sectional feminist lens, bringing a modern sensibility to a timeless comedy of loyalty, passion, and dogs.
