The Corner Place hosts weekly trivia on Tuesdays from 7 p.m., with rotating drink specials from local breweries. Hosted by actor/entertainer Nathan Manning aka @thesociablehost, The Corner Place trivia runs the gamut from pop culture and history, to Family Feud-style smackdowns. The first-place team wins a $50 bar tab, so put on your drinking cap (erm, or thinking cap) and swing by to test your smarts. C’est What?

C’est What?, the go-to haunt for great pub grub and solid craft taps, now hosts biweekly Wednesday trivia nights! Alternating Wednesdays at 7 p.m., bring your brain-trust team for the chance to win glory, bragging rights, and beer prizes! For the summer months, enjoy trivia on the gorgeous C’est What? Beer Garden. From October on the game is moved into their iconic cellar. Be sure to follow @cestwhatto on Instagram for trivia night dates – and arrive early to grab a spot as they’re walk-in only. If you live for live music, local bands are featured Fridays from 9 pm to midnight in the summer, and Thursdays to Saturdays 4 p.m-11 p.m from October to April. Click here for more info. 

Duke’s Refresher

Every Tuesday is trivia night at  Duke’s Refresher, starting at 7 p.m. Enjoy free samples and specials from local breweries, like Muskoka Brewery who recently passed out tasters of their craft brews. Early birds can take advantage of Duke’s Happy Hour from 4 pm-6 pm, featuring $5 PBRs, well drinks, and sliders. Max team size is 6, and solo players are welcome! 

On the Rocks

Whether you’re tone-deaf or a vocal prodigy, On the Rocks is a haven for karaoke singers of every level. This Chinese Restaurant/Karaoke Bar features karaoke from 9 p.m- 2 a.m every Thursday/Friday/Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m.- 10 p.m. Fuel your pipes with daily specials like $5 domestic pints Sunday and Monday, and ½ price apps on Wednesdays. Bar Cathedral


Calling all crooners: Mondays at Bar Cathedral are Open Mic Night, starting at 8 p.m. There’s no fee to enter, just a $10 minimum spend. Sign-up is first-come-first-serve. Musicians, poets, and comics are all welcome at every skill level. If you’re more interested in shaking your groove thing, the last Thursday of every month features a themed dance party.
