Meet Altitude Coach Martina
Martina is an experienced and highly knowledgable coach at Altitude known for her compassion and attention to detail. She works with various clients of all levels and ages, helping them successfully achieve their health, rehab and fitness goals. Martina has also helped dozens of clients run endurance events and climb mountains such as Kilimanjaro.
Growing up, Martina played a variety of sports including karate, swimming, baseball, soccer, track, and cross-country skiing. Her love of sport and interest in movement across various populations led her to graduate from the University of Toronto Kinesiology and Physical Education program. This program provided her with a solid foundation working with various populations including children, geriatric individuals, and individuals with disability.
Martina then furthered her education, completing her Master’s of Professional Kinesiology at the University of Toronto with a specialization in Adapted Physical Activity. She is also a Registered Kinesiologist, is NCCP Multisport Certified and completed the Bone Fit Certification Osteoporosis Canada.
Martina is passionate about making physical activity as accessible as possible and is excited to collaborate with clients during sessions to help them reach their individual goals.
