Bring your fuzzy buddy to The Fur Ball ’22: A Howl-a-ween Dog Costume Contest and Charity Raffle at the Pavilion in St. James Park. Email dogsofstjamesto@gmail.com and register your pooch for your chance to win a prize basket filled with merch from local pet shops. For humans, we’re also running a charity raffle with proceeds supporting Through Ruff Times which aims to reduce barriers for people with pets who may experience poverty, homelessness, mental health and substance use, violent living conditions and/or any other self-identified challenges. There are dozens of gift cards and hundreds of dollars to be won from local businesses like SukhoThai, Evok Eyewear, C’est What and more.
You can buy raffle tickets on the day of the event and in advance at AAA Bar (138 Adelaide St. East). One ticket is $5, five tickets are $20, and ten tickets are $30. You do not need to attend the event to participate in the raffle.
